Richard survived.
The bullet struck his shoulder.
Fear finally broke his arrogance.
He agreed to testify without conditions.
His statement exposed judges, officers, bankers, and executives who helped Daniel.
Sheriff Cole entered a guilty plea.
The state police commander resigned.
The bank returned Emily’s stolen trust assets under federal supervision.
