Top Trump Administration Official OUT - Late-Night Announcement Stuns Nation's Capital

Washington D.C. — In a late-night announcement that sent ripples through the nation’s capital, Todd Lyons, the acting chief of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, has resigned from his position.

Lyons submitted his resignation letter to Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin and stated he will remain in the role until May to ensure a smooth transition as Mullin takes the helm after succeeding former DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.

Secretary Mullin praised Lyons’ service, saying, “Thanks to his leadership, American communities are safer. We wish him luck on his next opportunity in the private sector.” The DHS chief did not elaborate on the reasons for the departure, but sources close to the administration described it as a planned transition to further strengthen interior enforcement operations.
