MIDTERM UPDATE - Supreme Court Bombshell on Photo ID to Vote

Washington D.C. — The Missouri Supreme Court upheld a Republican-backed congressional map in a 4-3 decision on Tuesday. The ruling could reshape the state’s political landscape ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

The court rejected arguments that the Missouri Constitution limits redistricting to once per decade following the U.S. census. The majority held that while the constitution requires redistricting after each census, it does not prohibit more frequent adjustments.
